Our Story
Dan River Window Company was built on a simple belief: customers deserve quality windows made from American materials, at a price that cuts out the middleman.
A Family Trade
Avis Vee Sutherland Jr. learned the window business from his father before opening Dan River Window Company in 1999. From day one, the mission was clear: bring customers quality products and service while keeping everything supplied from America and affordable.
Those goals haven't changed. Today, Dan River Window is still family-run, still manufacturing in-house, and still in constant contact with vendors and engineers to stay current on the latest window technology.
“We are looking forward to the future and thankful for the past — it was only made possible because of suppliers, friends, family, employees, and customers that believed in us.”
— Avis Sutherland Jr., President
